[...] As I mentioned, this is my introduction to Hugo Chastanet, and I have but one complaint about ‘I Walk A Mile’ – it’s far too short! Standing at 2:47 minutes, a listener will enjoy the melodic tune, but as quickly as you fall in love with ‘I Walk A Mile’, the song is snatched away. Highly recommended, I’ll be sure to have this track on repeat and cannot wait for Chastanet’s upcoming album. [...]

Wonderful In Young Life : As with 20th Century Promised Land, this song isn't often referred to, even by “hardcore” fans. I love the break between its verses, rough and brutal and its intriguing, hypnotic chorus. In Orwell's own version, a Carole King-influenced piano has become the matrix for a track that humbly ogles to late '70s Bowie productions.

[...] OK, the swear words are out but that's without counting on the sick polishing, the stacking of guitars and keyboards, the glorious and effective guitars but never monolithic and, to tell the truth, and I weigh my words because we're talking about sacred things here, quite, or maybe even more refined than those of our old dinosaurs. So, we get adrenaline rushes full of sebum when we jump (again) on the couch but there's also something to delight in by listening. It's the strength of age.

Thank you Rock Made In France ! [...] This pleasure for the ears is due to Julien Bouchard and Médéric Gontier, still active in Tahiti 80 who form the duo Faïence. The EP Tendance is their first record. And a first success since out of the five tracks, nothing is to be thrown away. Even the last track, a simple demo, concludes this EP with a taste of too little. So we take another swig by pressing Play again... For pleasure above all. [...]
