Review particularly enthusiastic of Songs From La Chambre on A Découvrir Absolument... [...] J’ai tellement adoré me planter face à vos chansons que la conclusion de l’album est un parfait alibi pour moi. Oui, j’ai décidé de « prendre le temps », chose que vous avez fait pour écrire ce disque, juste assez, avant de rendre les clefs de l’appartement que j’imagine, lumineux pour les mélodies, s’ouvrant sur un horizon fortement influencé par un ciel changeant mais jamais totalement uniforme.

Great review on Balloonatic ! A l'instar de Peter Walsh et The Apartments, réapparus l'an dernier, grâce à Microcultures et le système du crowdfunding, avec le merveilleux No song, no spell, no madrigal, John Cunningham, songwriter de génie et pourtant méconnu, auteur de deux des plus grands albums pop des années 1990-2000, Homeless house et Happy-go-unlucky, et dont on était sans nouvelles depuis, hormis quelques participations ici et là (notamment pour Mehdi Zannad, aka Fugu, dont il a mixé la première version de Fugu 1)...

[...] On ne pourra pas être touché par la tendresse feutrée et subtile de I Can Flyqui rappelle ô combien dans la musique de l’anglais, il y a toujours des appétits pour la chose Soul et Jazz et ce ne sont pas les cuivres majestueux en conclusion du titre qui viendront contredire cette impression.

Thanks to Taiyo Someya and Botanical House Label, Kidsaredead went to Japan to do a tour in October 2015 : a truely wonderful experience I will never forget. We played in Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo. And thanks to Thierry Bellia who joined the trip with his camera, we can now watch this little rockumentary. Enjoy !
