Un Hôtel, Une Etoile is out today ! Available on iTunes !

Native of Lyon, Victor Roux, a.k.a G R I M M E, started out with several bands from the Rhône-Aples region (Azrael, XX Mariani, ...) before deciding to go solo. He transforms his two rooms into a home studio and works on new songs which he first presents under his name, Victor. At the same time, he produced and composed songs and albums for other artists (Laurent Lamarca, Al-Hy, Eddy La Gooyatsh ...).

Thank you Musiczine for letting us know about the new album and most of all to announce the two Belgian dates planned for next April. Indeed, the band will be at the Entrepôt in Arlon on Friday April 3 and at the cercle St-Hubert in Marchin (Huy) on Saturday April 4.

News of the day: Julien Bouchard is in the last straight line and he's going to finish his second and new album in the coming days. Appointment is already scheduled at Lynx studio in January for the mixing ! Excitement !!! This new album will be available in vinyl and digital with Bloody Mary Music and Records in France. And by the way this nice new picture was made by Jean Elliot Senior.

If Grimme was a dish, what would it be?

I'm not sure ... Maybe a dish with lots of ingredients or lots of spices. I like to mix influences and timbres. Accompany my melodies with orchestral arrangements between strings, brass and old synthesizers. And at the same time, the basis of my songs is quite classic. So it might be a classic dish mixed with other flavors. A pizza with truffles? Or a salmon tartare with passion fruit? It is not easy! [laughs]
