With his band Orwell, Lorraine native Jérôme Didelot has been a recognized craftsman of French-speaking indie pop since the 2000s. He has sometimes ventured into English for a few covers (the mini-album Sunny Songs For Winter at Christmas 2020 among others). He has also had Scottish Isobel Campbell and Japanese Sugar Me sing in French on his side project Son Parapluie. However, for once, Orwell's new album will this time be entirely in English.
